Quality Inn & Suites

I have stayed at the red roof in several times and it’s a so so hotel but it’s close to my friend I’m visiting. I was happyish. Until tonight. I booked a room for 3 nights and when I arrived they told me they didn’t have any rooms despite showing them my reservation. The hotel sent a confirmation number but would not honor it. They said call the agent the next day but would not provide a room for the night. Stating they only had a suite. I asked to use the bathroom they stated they didn’t have one. I called my agent and they tried to work out the issue while taking to them I had to walk 1/4 To use a rest room. While gone they kicked my travel companion and her son out of the lobby. We were left in Austin without a car, no room, or even a place to sit while talking to the Agent. When the agent came back they told me the hotel was saying they didn’t have a suite either. I’m looking forward to seeing them respond with the simple we are working on this that I’ve seen on every bad review but they don’t seem to do anything to actually fix this or to redeem themselves.

They have no elevator and the on screen guide for the TV didn't work. There was no channel guide in the room and they only clean the rooms every other day. I would have stayed somewhere else if I'd known.

The rooms were very clean, and the rooms had a modern look. The staff was friendly and helpful when I asked questions about the area and places to eat. They have good amenities! We will come back again!
