If you're looking for a location close to the main downtown area (6th street), this is your place! Literally a 2 minute walk and you're in the center of it all! Additionally, this location is in walking distance to a lot of sight seeing as well (capitol, Bat Bridge). They included breakfast which is actually really good and varies day to day. The inside restaurant and bar is delicious! Check it out for sure.

We spent 8 days in Austin and had a wonderful time. The residence inn is perfectly situated in mid downtown and clean. Restaurants nearby and you grab an uber in two minutes at any given time. Breakfast is complementary and really good with great coffee too. BUT the staff. Oh, the staff. The most wonderful people that I have ever had the hounor to be served by. Welcoming, warm, friendly and just adoreble. Our friends that stayed at a much more exoensive place said they will stay here the next time.

The staff truly make all the difference. From the front desk to the valet parking team, everyone here has been exceptionally professional, courteous, and helpful. The reception team—especially Ms. Ladyfair, who is both warm and respectful of my Bonvoy status, along with Oly, Barbra, and the entire kitchen crew—consistently deliver outstanding service. Although I’m not typically a breakfast person, the variety and quality of the food here are impressive. As a frequent traveler to this area, this hotel has become my preferred choice, and I don’t see myself staying anywhere else.
