This hotel had black mold All over. They tried to paint over it, but you could lots of areas in the corners of the wall where the growth had come through. You could also smell it very strongly in the air. It was very musky and humid in the rooms. Having said that, housekeeping is doing a very good job. the rooms clean, beds are neatly made, and breakfast was nice. Hotel staff at the desk was nice and polite.

SCAM ALERT: Predatory Deposit Theft Scheme at This Location! ⚠️ Avoid this hotel at all costs! This Super 8 location is actively running a predatory scam where they fabricate fake damages to steal guest deposits. During my stay, the staff completely fabricated a claim to keep my money. The head housekeeper showed a picture of a purple-stained towel to justify withholding my deposit. My daughter and I did not have a single purple item with us, meaning the staff explicitly took a dirty towel from someone else's room—or staged a photo—just to steal our cash. There were also normal food spots on the sheets from Mexican food, but those are standard laundry stains that easily come out with normal bleaching. Handling normal laundry and wear-and-tear is the hotel's legal responsibility—it is absolutely not considered property damage! When I confronted them, the employee openly admitted that the franchise owner knows exactly what is going on, calls the shots, and refuses to do anything about it. I even witnessed them pulling similar tricks on a group of guests right before me. On top of the financial fraud, the hotel itself is terrible. The beds and pillows are hard as a rock, breakfast is practically non-existent, and the outside of the building is surrounded by loiterers, creating massive safety concerns. They are breaking consumer laws by withholding deposits without cause. I am currently filing formal complaints with Wyndham Corporate, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the State Attorney General, as well as disputing the charge with my bank. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want your money stolen by the management!

The hotel is older and definitely in need of some TLC, but they are making do with what they have. The hotel was clean, the staff was polite and professional. the continental breakfast is very bare bones, so be prepared for cold cereal or a waffle as the only options. The pool looked clean, but we never got to use it as it was closed for some reason. I did ask for extra towels the day we arrived but none ever came. Bathroom is what showed the most wear and tear. cracks in the tub, and walls.
