Best Western Winscott Inn Suites

Excellent Value for a king size room. The room was large and clean. I had a good night sleep on the bed. The air conditioner kept the room cool. No problems. The breakfast was basic but sufficient. The hotel is conveniently located off of US 287. The staff was friendly and helpful. When in the area, I will definitely return.

First, the negatives: the property is on the older side and shows wear. The water pressure in my bathroom shower and sink were substandard. I managed OK, but it took time. The exterior door which would have allowed me to go directly from the parking lot to the elevator would not open for my room key. Inconvenient, but not worth complaining. The location of the hotel is a bit off the beaten track. You'll probably have to drive a bit to anything you want to do. But for me, the positives greatly outweighed the negatives. Things are a bit old there, but everything worked. The room was attractive, very spacious and clean and quiet. I slept very well in the comfortable bed. I had everything I needed. I felt safe there. And the staff was wonderful. Disclosure: I didn't stop for breakfast, so I can't comment on the quality there.

Upon arrival Kevin was the most friendliest check in person we have encountered in many years of travel. Shortly after we got into our room there was a problem with our AC and Kevin came to fix it within a few moments. The king sized bed was fabulous. Some suggestions would be to add USB plug-ins. Also have plug-ins on both sides of the bed. Generally we travel with our own pillows but this time we did not; the hotel pillows could be updated to be more fluffy and not flat. Overall we would highly recommend this place and would stay again!
