Econo Lodge

I hope my review will change your perception of Econolodges in general. This one features comfortable beds in clean, updated rooms, with a friendly staff. The outside is still rickitty but useable. They have coffee but no breakfast but for the price we paid, we got our moneies worth$. There is no elevator. We felt safe. We will stop again if the owners are still qikingsville@gmail.com

Budget price but not entirely a budget experience. We were frustrated with Internet and TV. Both eventually worked but not as well as we would have liked. Other than that, the room was inexpensive, clean, mostly quiet, and comfortable. If you are on a budget do not be afraid to stay here.

Stayed in Kingsville before going to King Ranch. The start was promising, but fell short of expectations. We received a call about our expected arrival time. We told them and when we arrived, were surprised that our room was 85 degrees and the AC was off. The room had a very musty smell and the lampshade was dirty or moldy. The room was comfortable after many hours to cool. It was excellent at keeping out the light considering the door opened to the outside. The water pressure was excellent but scalding hot- watch out! We did not partake of the grab and go breakfast. The motel is relatively easy to get to King Ranch and other places in Kingsville.
