Comfort Inn Denton

When we checked in our room keys didn’t work so I had to go back downstairs and get New # room keys then when we finally got in the room, the TV didn’t work and the phone didn’t work and the hotel had a weird smell throughout

I am visiting UNT for two days and the university put me up here. The first bad sign was the uber driver saying - youre a professor and this is the best they can do!?! While I am no snob - I can fairly say this is a place to avoid. The building smells like industrial cleaner, the type you use when you want to over filth. There were men on the outside of the building smoking in the middle of the day. The bedding in the room was dirty (appeared to be coffee stains and hair). I stayed here for all of 10 minutes and walked out. The holiday Inn and La Quinta down the street are equal cost and are very nice. While the hotel is miserable, the woman at the front desk was very kind.
