Econolodge Dallas Airport North

My flight was cancelled due to the weather and was put in this hotel for overnight. It was an older place but clean. Since it was only for one night, I was not very fussy. The breakfast was ok to get me going since they do not give you much on flights anymore.

Came here from the road and the hotel room was nicely appointed with microwave and refrigerator. The shower had adequate water pressure. Pet friendly and hot meal. the only problem we had is we asked housekeeping not to make up the room but leave clean towels. She did not do that but the front desk did.

Hotel looks new outside and has promise inside. I've stayed in worse and paid way more. My only concern is safety. The smoke detector was disconnected and hanging down. Two ceiling lights missing with wires hanging down. Room was clean. Bed, although the bed foundation is smaller than the queen bed, was comfortable.
