This location is owned by a franchisee by the name of Kevin. He hates his guests and is a horrible individual. I've stayed at this location on and off over the last two decades and I wouldn't recommend staying there for any length of time..Since he's a franchise of Motel 6, you will not receive their support when he decides to chance the rules or the pricing of the terms of your stay..Buyer beware...Avoid this hotel if you don't want to get ripped off..Cares more for his half million dollars worth of cars out front then his guests

I booked a reservation for a one night stay at this property through the Motel 6 website. I am a very frequent traveler and have stayed at Studio 6 / Motel 6 properties a lot over the years, so I am quite familiar with their practices. I do not travel with cash - I use my credit card to cover the costs of hotel stays, so I was quite surprised, when I arrived at this property to check in, that the front desk staff person requested a $20 cash deposit. I asked him to put the deposit on my credit card, but he refused to do so. I then pointed out, politely, that there was nothing indicating a cash deposit requirement for guests using a credit card when I booked the reservation. He just lamely pointed to a sign in the window stating that the deposit was required, and, when I explained that I don't carry cash, he just shrugged. I did not want to get into an argument with him, so I requested that he cancel my reservation, and I booked at another Studio 6 in the area. When hotels have policies like this, it usually suggets to me that there is something sketchy about the hotel, whereby they feel that they need to protect themselves in such ways against their guests ... big red flag. Having said that, I saw or experienced nothing that was abnormal during my short stay on the grounds, but there is no need for me to return to a property that has such policies in place when there are plenty of acceptable choices in the area. I rarely leave "one star" reviews, but these policies warrant it. Stay elsewhere.

We booked a stay here through our Travel club and paid for it in advance. When we arrived, Andy was at the front desk. I told him I had a reservation he asked for $20.00 to hold, I told him I didn't have it so he took my credit card and billed me full price for the room. I explained to him I already paid for the room and he said we don't except pre pay. So I had him refund my money and I called my Travel Club who called him and verified that he was refusing rental. My Travel Club offered to refund me and I could pay him directly. So I asked Andy if this would work and he said yes but I would have to pay $15.00 more than what he charged me 5 minutes before. Andy is one of the rudest unprofessional man I have ever met! Stay at your own risk. From the outside the Motel seems nice but it seems to be in a bad area! I seen lots vagrant walking around. I personally will never stay at a Studio 6 not in this life time!
