Excellent hotel for this category. The cleaning was proper. Internet and TV good. Comfortable bathroom. Close to the airport. Basic American-style breakfast.

The hotel itself was a fairly average three-star property. I would have rated it three stars, but due to our experience with parking and airport transportation, I can only give it two. Upon arrival, we were informed that we would need to pay for parking while traveling. This was surprising because the hotel's website clearly advertises "FREE PARKING" and states that complimentary airport shuttle service is provided. The bigger issue occurred upon our return. After landing at DFW, we called the hotel to request a shuttle pickup. The receptionist told us the driver would arrive within 25 minutes. After waiting 40 minutes with no shuttle, I called again and spoke with a different receptionist, who informed me that our pickup request had never been passed along to the driver. We were then told it would be another 20 minutes before the shuttle could arrive. As a result, it took nearly an hour and a half from the time we called until we finally made it back to the hotel. While the hotel itself was acceptable, the misleading parking information and poor shuttle coordination created a frustrating experience. Because of these issues, I would not choose to stay here again.

Mercedes is the BEST! She helped us with a change in our reservation we didn't anticipate. We bugged her with a bunch of questions and she answered all of them! Her patience and kindness was greatly appreciated!
