Regency Inn Fairfield

Owners/staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive to any needs. Room was clean. AC worked really well keeping the room cold. Quiet and lots of green space for dogs. Great shower head. Small refrigerator in room. This hotel allows dogs - any size - for a nominal nightly fee. We will stay there again if we are in the area!

I called to make sure to rooms were available & if they had a guest laundry. Answer to both were yes. No single nonsmoking rooms were available. Gave me a smoking room went to check on a different room& was going to charge me more for a double so I just kept my single. Had no toilet paper, washer & dryer need updating. Ac works ok, had flat screen TV, microwave &fridge. Ok for the price. But there is a good restaurant across the highway called Sam's.

Room 212. Towels were small & thin. Bathtub was stained, and squeaks badly every time you adjust your weight. Sink drain was really slow and backed up. A/C sounded like a freight train. Smoke detector on the wall was covered with a clear trash bag. TV used Dish Network and was not programmed or something. We could not get any stations. WiFi was spotty and slow when it did work. Female desk clerk was slow to check us in. Booked 1 King non-smoking on Hotels.com but was told that only 2 double beds were left when I arrived 10 minutes later. No "Do Not Disturb" sign. House keeping knocked at 8:45am. I expect this from a $35 per night motel, not a $55+ per night motel.
