HAMPTON INN - SUITES - ALLIANC

We came to stay at this hotel around 2am we checked in and maybe got a few hours of sleep. They started doing work around our room around 6:30 am we have heard about everything from banging to heavy footsteps back and forth to knocking constantly. We have not been able to go to sleep at all. We called the front office they said they were sorry they didn’t tell us there would be construction going on. They didn’t offer a reimbursement or anything just said sorry. I paid over $200 for a night to get sleep so we wouldn’t be on the road.

Typical Hampton. Good enough for the price. Christy, the night clerk is an all star! Give that girl a raise please!!!

So we stayed here for a week to explore the Stockyards and chose this location as it was near to the NASCAR track, it is in a good location for that, so there is no bar etc, there is a fuel station store within walking distance that has some variety in food and drinks, there is also the Garden inn over the highway which is good, bed was comfy and plenty of parking, when we had a thunderstorm the carpet was wet near the window and also the roof was leaking a little in the lobby area, the breakfast is simple but adequate, the pool was not being used, could do with some more outside seating, rooms are not cleaned if you leave after a certain time in the day, the staff are ok but could not print us an invoice out when we checked out and we still have not received that by email, if you just want somewhere to put your head down it is good but don't expect anything more
