My family stayed here due to a Convention being held here. I was hopeful the negative reviews I read prior to our arrival was a bit exaggerated. Nope, to say the least some of those reviews erred on the side of being nice. If you are a horror movie fan, then you might be slightly amused by the idea of this hotel looking a lot like The Shining Hotel. At any moment I was waiting for the twin girls to appear at the end of the hallway. I wanted to take a selfie in front of room 211 but sadly it was blocked off due to renovations. I’m a runner so I was looking forward to getting my quick morning workout on the treadmill in the fitness room. I ended up getting my morning jog in the parking lot because everything was closed due to renovations…. I mean EVERYTHING including the elevator. The local ducks flew by one morning of our stay to take a quick swim in the pool. That was an epic fail because they were even scared to get in the two foot of stagnant mercy water. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Once this place is fully remodeled, I’m sure it will be a great place to stay. For horror movie enthusiasts, it’s a fun place to stay now if you want to live your wildest Shining fantasies. Until then, I would book a different hotel. This place needs to close until remodeling is finished.

We reserved 25 rooms for our group and this is the worst hotel we have EVER stayed in. Dirty , ill repair, NO ELEVATORS WORKING and we are a senior group, Pool is 2 ft of murky water-- a joke. Internet so slow that we used our hot spot phones in rooms, air conditioner was placed in our group room that had vents and a trash can to gather water . We were instructed to dump the water everyday. Breakfast was a single bagel -- no joking ! Electric plugs top part of plug in each room didn't work and lastly, without exception, we all had to rekey our door keys three or four times a day as they would not work--not due to it being by a cell phone, or other credit cards. Their web site looks nice but please take it from us -- worst stay in 35 yrs of this group. It did win that award for something.

We were there when the senior citizens were staying there. The Madonna house where they lived caught on fire and they came to the hotel. The hotel manager was very unprofessional and rude to them. She refused to cleaan there rooms give them toiletries,or clean linen. She was taking there food and drinks and hiding it giving it to some hotel guest,i saw here banging on there doors asking them when they were leaving and she told the houseman to hide the laundry carts in her office so they could not get anything.I also saw her take there water and juice hide it from them and the lady who brought it for them had to make the manager and front desk clerk bring them back.If you could have seen the way they treated these senior citizens it would have broke your hearts. They were already stressed and haven't been sleeping and then come to the hotel and be treated this way was awfiul. Now they we stayed 3 days if they were not changing there linen you know they would not have changed ours if we did not say anything,I was told that the owner gave them unti June 9 to stay,Now the manager of the hotel is making them leave now.Imange if this was your mother, father or grandparents that just went through a horrible fire and trama then come to this hotel and be treated like this its just heart breaking.DO not stay here the hotel is also under construction and they are not serving hot breakfast if you do get something for breakfast it will be what they stole from the seniors citizens. THE HOTEL MANAGER NEEDS TO BE FIRED AND THE OWNER NEEDS TO HAVE CLARION STRIPPED FROM THIS HOTEL.THEY ALL NEED TO BE SUED FOR ELDERY NEGLECT
