Sunset Inn and Suites

A perfectly fine 2-star hotel. Good bed, AC, fridge, pool, price, location. Friendly staff. Had no problem with the parking. It's not a brand-new squeaky clean modern 3-star hotel but it doesn't advertise as such. No desk clerk after 9PM but there is a phone number to work out arrangements. Was happy with my stay.

The room is typical of a motel. Very clean. Very good bedding. The value for money is unbeatable. The receptionist was adorable.Thanks to her for advising us breakfast in the restaurant opposite because it was great!

DO NOT BOOK!!!! Terrible hotel. I booked through booking.com, and the hotel called me and said that we couldn't stay there because we would arrive too late, AND they couldn't cancel the room. They said I needed to call booking.com. Booking.com said they would send an email confirming that it is ok to cancel the room, but they can't cancel until they hear from the hotel. But here is the crazy part.... the manager for the hotel is on vacation and will not return until the end of Jan. That is over 15 days during which no one can check the email and approve the cancellation. This is HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Someone at the hotel should be able to confirm that our room needs to be canceled. THE HOTEL CANCELED ON US. WE DID NOT CANCEL ON THEM. WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WAIT 15 DAYS TO GET A REFUND.
