The Galvestonian

We had a wonderful stay! The views were spectacular, the atmosphere was relaxing, and everything was spotless. The location was perfect—close to everything while still feeling peaceful and private. We truly enjoyed our time walking together in the beach and enjoying the pool. We would happily return soon.

Our three-night stay at the Galvestonian was delightful. The condo was spacious, with plenty of room to relax in the living and dining area, plus a balcony with a fantastic view of the beach. The Galvestonian is a gracious building, well-known among long-time Texans as the crown jewel of East Beach. The front desk staff is welcoming and knows many of the long-time owners by name. You can tell this is the kind of place that families return to for generations. We enjoyed long walks on the beach and relaxing poolside with plenty of available chaise lounge chairs. Pickleball paddles and balls are available at the front desk should you forget your own, and the courts are well-maintained and conveniently located next to the building. We never waited for an open court. I highly recommend the Galvestonian for long-term visits or even short weekend getaways. The East Beach location is a welcome distance from the crowds along the Seawall and other beachfront properties further south. We'll definitely be back!

I highly recommend booking the Galvestonian if you will be vacationing in the greater Houston area, Galveston or even attending the World Cup. Conveniently located less than an hour's drive from Houston's World Cup's venue, NRG Stadium, the Galvestonian is a great property with welcoming and helpful staff and many amenities allowing you to enjoy both the Beautiful Game and the charms of Galveston during your visit. The Galvestonian has direct access to the beach, many amenities (pool, tennis courts, garden, dog park, shuffleboard, basketball, lots of parking, wifi, etc) and convenient access to the trendy Strand, Moody Gardens and its attractions, the old school Pier, and the beaches and first class dining along the Seawall. Galveston is a beautiful and very interesting city for visitors of all ages. My wife and I recently stayed in Unit 203 for 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed the beach views from the balcony of this clean, comfortable and well equipped 2 bedroom rental. The very thoughtful owners equipped the unit with everything we could conceivably need or want during our stay, making it a totally enjoyable turnkey stay. I would definitely return to this well run resort and Unit 203.
