Fairfield Inn by Marriott Wichita Falls

We enjoyed our stay at this Comfort Inn. Our room was large, clean. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom had lots of counter space. The refrigerator did not have a freezer compartment which we needed to keep our ice blocks frozen for the medicine we were carrying. We used their ice machine to keep medicine cold in the yeti. It was very quiet. I didn’t see any of the construction crew one of the other reviewers talked about. The breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast.—reconstituted eggs..the waffle machine, the bananas, apples, orange juice, yogurt biscuits muffins are plenty for anyone to eat. I wish I’d gotten the name of the lady that was on duty June 2. She was really friendly and helpful. I really wanted to watch the Astros game but could not sign into the DirecTv to string the game. I appreciate it the front desk checking to see if I could add an app to the TV. I could not..

Not my favorite hotel. Too many construction workers staying there. Noisy until late from one of the workers playing his music very loud. Next morning, we were awakened by very, very, very loud automobile noise at 6am. Food was not great. There was confusion about who was staying in our room and the front desk clerk had to go to the room to make sure there was no one in it. Won’t be staying here again.

This is an exceptionally clean and well run hotel. I was on business so was not traveling alone this time. I would have no problem staying at this hotel by myself as an "older" female traveler. The room was very clean, the beds fresh, the room had been vacuumed, the bathroom was clean all the dispensers had plenty of product. We had lots of towels. The pool and hot tub area was clean. For my tastes the hottub wasn't quite hot enough and the jets lacked pressure. I also realize they have to adjust these to the desires of their norm travelers. The GM was very pleasant and friendly. The staff were very warm and courteous. The breakfast had the traditional hotel fare. It was refreshed and checked continuously. The dining area was spotless. It was quiet and peaceful. The parking lot was well lit, my car was as safe as it is in my own drive. It appeared very much as they cared about the condition of the hotel and the guest experience. It doesn't gouge your pocketbook about mid range in cost. I'm glad I stayed there. If I have to go back to WF I'll be staying with them again!
