We always stay here when we visit Houston but re-thinking it. Every staff member we met was very courteous and did their best to help us. For three straight days, I told staff the phone was inop and it still was inop when we left. Yes, I have a cell but if I wanted to talk to a staff member I had to go down to the front desk. What a pain. And if I had to call 911……My cell would connect me to my home 911. There was a constant buzzing sound throughout the hotel at various volume levels. It was annoying. (You could barely hear it in the elevator). In our room it was very noticeable. Sounded like a fluorescent bulb getting ready to fail. Halfway through the first days breakfast period the refrigerator was completely empty except for cream cheese and several yogurts. When I asked the kitchen staff member about butter, she neither spoke nor understood English. Another customer was kind enough to translate. There was no more butter AT ALL. Wi fi was very strong. Refrigerator and tv remote worked well.

This is a place when family comes into the city, that we make sure we arrange for folks to gather. Breakfast is always awesome, and the rooms are very clean and welcoming.
