Coutyard by Marriot-Medical Center

Great rooms and lobby/lounge area with computers, etc… staff was awesome and everything was great except no breakfast unless you purchase it from the rather pricey cafe in the lobby.

The hotel is located close to the NRG stadium in Houston. This it’s perfect for events in the arena. It takes only 20min per feed. Houston downtown is 20-30 min far away by car. Thus it’s a good hotel for events in the stadium and too far away for Houston downtown and sightseeing. The hotel is Courtyard standard. The room was really big and everything was available.The pool is not nice and small. Breakfast was good and the whole staff was very friendly. I joined a game in NRG stadium during FIFA 2026 and I enjoyed my stay there.

We needed to visit the Houston Medical Center frequently during our weeek long stay. The staff were very helpful and made us feel at home. The friendliness of everyone made our stay stress free. Of very special note was the the relationship we developed with Alisha (she works in the cafe area). Her customer service skills were on full display and she went far beyond normal expectations. She would often check on us. We feel as though we have gained a family member. We anticipate continuing our friendship on subsequent visits to the Medical Center.
