I am currently 12 days into my planned stay at the I-10 Citycentre Extended Stay America location. I plan staying at least another 2 weeks and possibly more depending on factors that are fluid this time. The hotel is a quiet inviting place. The first week I was here the elevator was inoperable but as of this writing has been repaired and is working fine. Stairs provided easy access to my room on the second floor from the parking lot so not having the elevator during the first week was not an issue for me. My room offers everything I need in a temporary living space. The full size refrigerator and kitchenette with 2 cooktops and a microwave allow me to cook for myself, which I like to do. There is ample closet and dresser space as well as a bath/shower bathroom with fresh towels anytime I want them. The HVAC system works great and allows me to be comfortable just like home. The room was clean when I arrived and with a little daily attention on my part is easy to keep that way. The price per week is affordable and makes staying here an easy choice. The staff at this location are pleasant and hard working. Having been here awhile I have gotten to know most of the staff by name. They have facilitated UPS packages and helped orient me on laundry facilities and more. Maria went the extra mile to help me print some needed documents on the front desk printer which saved a trip to an offsite facility. At the time she helped me she was so busy with other tasks I started to walk away and wait for a better time but she insisted on accommodating me right then. A true multitasker. She didn't miss a step. I am happy to be staying here

Ms. Maria and Ms. Mireya go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Room is clean and quiet. Maintenance is also superb as they immediately repaired my faucet in the bathroom which had started to leak. I don't cook but do appreciate the kithette, especially the full size refrigerator. I bought a cheap coffee maker at the nearby Walmart and make my coffee every morning like I would if I were at home.

This was my second (and last) time staying at an Extended Stay America. Both times were in completely different states. My first stay wasn’t great—minimal amenities, cleanliness that was just “okay”—but at least the staff wasn’t rude. This most recent visit, however, was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I was traveling with my spouse, who is fighting stage 4 cancer. Late at night, I called the front desk for a simple request: an extra pillow to help with his leg pain from cancer treatment. The desk clerk laughed at me, told me, “We are closed 11–7. Not my problem you need anything,” and hung up. When I called back, she laughed again before ending the call. Like you are already working at a filthy and unsafe hotel, at least be kind. I work as a District Manager in the service industry—I know what good service looks like. This was the exact opposite. For any guest, this behavior would be unacceptable. For someone traveling for life-saving medical care, it’s disgusting. Extended Stay America has lost my business forever, and I will make sure to warn others
