Howard Johnson Suites Hobby Airport

We found this NEW hotel on price line. It is so new, it has no reviews yet. We were scared! But it was a great find! The room is huge! Two queen beds, a dresser, a desk with a comfy chair. Plenty of room for luggage and IT WON'T GET IN THE WAY! Now the perks! 1. FLAT SCREEN 42"+TV with HDMI cord. Basic cable. But if you have your devices to connect, like a gaming system, you're good to go! 2. Big bathroom! A bath tub! Lots of space. A the hand sink is out of the bathroom. It makes it's own den. There is a hair dryer. There is a hanging place for clothes; And an iron. 3. Kitchen! Yes! Wanna save money on eating out? Yes! There is a sink, a fridge, a microwave, a sink, and a 2-burner COOK TOP! Plenty of cabinets and counter tops. 4. The lobby has FREE coffee: regular, decaf, cappuccino, French vanilla, Mocha. FREE slushies of 2 kinds. 5. Excellent WiFi! 6. Close to the IAH airport. No shuttle. But there is Super8 next door 😊. Really. They share one lot. 7. Lots of trash cans in and outside. So, the grounds are kept clean. After Miami, this is luxury living. Ps: the boy in the pic is not included 😊

Family run hotel located adjacent to one of Houston's major freeways. The rooms are musty, the beds hard and uncomfortable, and the freeway noise forced me to turn the volume of my TV to hear it. Often a trucks horn would wake me from my sleep in the middle of the night. The TV are older models with not so clear pictures and of the 8 channels they do get 2 are PORNO. This is the true identity of this motel, a hook-up, "booty call" type motel. Each room has an AC/heater, microwave, and a mini fridge. Unless you get a SUPER great price avoid this motel.

We stayed here because we had an early flight the next day. The hotel doesn't have inside corridors, so taking the luggage up the stairs was difficult and heavy. This hotel is located next to a gas station. The room was small but it had a fridge, which was good. The bathroom was small and the tub didn't look clean. We were happy to have a "shuttle" to take us to the airport at 5:30 a.m., but what a ride! It was an old, dirty, beat-up van that had a strong smell of gasoline. I'm glad we stayed there only one night!
