Hampton Inn Dallas-Ft. Worth Airport South

UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE!! Not just a couple of people but EVERYONE. Tricia and Mandy are my standouts. I wish everyone had hospitality like this group does!!

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: THERE ARE FOUR HOTELS SURROUNDING THE DALLAS AIRPORT CALLED "HOME 2 SUITES DFW". THIS ONE IS "SOUTH". THERE IS A HOME 2 SUITES DFW NORTH, WEST, AND SOUTHWEST. DON'T BE LIKE ME AND ORDER AN UBER TO GO TO THE WRONG HOTEL. THEY HAVE A FREE AIRPORT SHUTTLE. DON'T CALL THE WRONG HOTEL FOR AN AIRPORT SHUTTLE, EITHER. Excellent stay. The room was a great value. Clean, comfortable room. A clean, modern gym. There is an outdoor pool but I didn't use it. The free breakfast was nice, with hot scrambled eggs, bacon, a waffle station, and hot grits. The staff was friendly. They have a convenient, free shuttle back and forth to the hotel. It has a comfortable bed, a sofa bed, a kitchen, and a desk. There was no chair at the desk, but since I only stayed one night, I didn't ask for one to be brought to me. (It looked like they were in the process of replacing a bunch of chairs that the arms had gotten ripped on the bottom of the desk.) I lost my driver's license on this trip, which was alarming. The hotel staff found it, and cheerfully mailed it back to me when I emailed them a shipping label. For what I paid, this was an amazingly good stay with great amenities. Just one thing: I am a coffee snob, and almost no hotels serve good coffee. This hotel serves the same Sams Club-style coffee. It's a small quibble, since none but the truly luxury hotels serve good coffee for free, so I didn't take off a star for this.
