SUPER 8 KOUNTZE BIG THICKET NATL PRES AREA

This hotel had friendly staff, comfortable beds, and hot breakfast items (waffles). It is no frills and does need updating. There were no outlets near the bed or desk for charging phones/devices, no iron/ironing board, and no conditioner in the bathroom. The price was unbeatable and that’s why we chose it. Overall, a pleasant experience.

This property is in desperate need of updating. It is clean and if you don't mind chipped furniture, stained bed covers, old carpet, and musty smells; it's a good deal. The breakfast was adequate and the staff friendly.

Our room was horrible.....dirty/stained floor, room smelled, holes in curtains and blanket on bed, AC unit was very loud. Turned AC unit off several times but the smell, even after spraying lysol, and the heat made it impossible to sleep. Also we couldn't get in the back door which was supposed to be closer to our room. Requested handicap accessible. We did not want to try a different room at this point; checked out about 3:15 am
