We came through Mineral Wells for one night on the way to Austin. We found this place on Trip Advisor and it had such great ratings that we decided to try it out. We had never stayed at a BnB but this was such a great experience! The owners, Megan and Jeremy are wonderful. As soon as I paid for the room online I received an email with a link to everything I needed to know about the stay from check/in, breakfast if requested, check/out, local restaurants, the inn’s history and to look for Waldo the tortoise! (And he’s a cutie!). The owners are so accommodating but not intrusive. And the rooms are very cozy and comfortable. Mineral Wells has a very interesting history and we hope to come back for a longer period someday. (We did come back for one night one the way home. We tried a different from and were still very satisfied!). I would highly recommend this property. It is adults only and there is a no smoking policy but that was a big plus for us. The rooms are upstairs and there is no elevator but the owners state that you can get assistance with that if needed. There is a coffee bar upstairs so you can pop out of your room and get a cup easily. They have various snacks sitting out for you to choose downstairs. Also breakfast is not included just in case you don’t want to get up at a specific time. But for a few dollars more you can have a delicious homemade breakfast - again highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay very much- we got complete and friendly instructions from the owners. Very clean and private. Best part was sitting in the bright dining room with the fantastic chef prepared breakfast. I definitely recommend if you need a place to stay in Mineral Wells.

The Magpie Inn is amazing! We stayed two nights and loved the rooms, an absolutely incredible breakfast, delicious cookies and other snacks, the game room, a mini Easter egg hunt, and seeing Waldo. Magen made my brother's birthday very special with an awesome birthday cake, pop, and signs too. Magen and Jeremy have truly thought of everything we might need, and gave us great restaurant and sunrise service recommendations too. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to returning soon!
