Enjoyed our stay and the food and accommodations were great. Highly recommended for family especially for young kids. Lazy river and the various activities for kids were great.

We enjoyed our 5 day stay at Margaritaville Lake Conroe. A few things that would have made it better would be making sure staff has towels at the pool available at all times and towels for the room are plentiful. Also, daily housekeeping is a must when a family stays for a week due to daily trash, showers, sand etc. when we had dinner at Landshark, they ran out of fries for one person at our table and didn’t offer anything else other than chips. They did not have enough paddles for pickleball, and it is advertised as an activity to enjoy, so only 2 could play at a time with paddles that looked as they have been through it. The The interactive sports is only available on weekends so we didn’t get to do that activity we planned to do. I requested late check out the morning of our departure at 7 am, because they said we could not request it the night before, and they said they could not honor it due to being full. We then had to wait for 45 min for an elevator due to everyone leaving at once and people arriving, so it would have made everything easier and better if they would have granted some request for late checkout so it wasn’t so chaotic even when they are sold out. Overall the resort has tremendous potential and was a good time, but the one thing I said all week was if they had better management that had a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance, this could be a 5 star resort. It is obvious by the cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms, standing water outside that creates mold, buckets in may hallways due to leaks and air not working well due to vents having dust caked on them along with other things, management has a sub par standard for the resort which brings the rating down. I have a 4 because even through I do have a high standard when paying someone to rent their space and it not meeting my expectations, we did find ways every day to enjoy our family time without having to leave the resort.

Our family stayed at the Conroe location for two days. It was an incredible experience and I really enjoyed the spa. TEN stars. Will definitely be back.
