Comfort Suites

In May, I booked a reservation for 2 nights in September, and received email confirmation. A few days before my stay, I received another email confirmation for Friday and Saturday nights. Upon my arrival Friday night, I was told that my stay had been shortened, and I only had a room for Saturday night. I showed the front desk girl, Kristin, my email confirmation, and she said “someone must have called and said they were you and changed your reservation.” This, of course, is an absurd scenario. She spoke with the general manager, Andy, who asked if I received an email notification of the modification, which I did not, which only verifies that the change was not legitimate. I stood there with my young daughter, holding a confirmation in my hand, insisting that I have a reservation for a bed, and I expect her to provide me a bed. She gave me an attitude and said, “I do not have a bed for you.” No apology, no sympathy for the inconvenience, and no consideration that perhaps someone on their end made a mistake. I was referred to a Motel 6 on the other side of town for Friday night, and when I returned for my reservation Saturday night, the general manager, Andy, denied any discount for my stay, and still not so much as an “I’m sorry.” They gave no resolution and they offered terrible customer service. It is absolutely unacceptable for someone to drive for hours, have a confirmation in print, and be told there is no bed available. This establishment can not be trusted, and their business is dishonest and unkind.

The place smells old and musty all the chairs in the breakfast area was stained! We had been traveling due to the passing of my father in law and we needed a place to stay for at least 3 nights price was not too bad but we had a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch which they didn’t have any linens in the room for it and they would not even give us pillows for it we had to take it away from the bed! The part that really got me was it should have been mentioned especially knowing your guest is coming in and staying for a while they will need the use of the washer and Dryer but the just have a set one washer one dryer and the dryer was not working!! The front desk lady told us well you can go to the laundromat but we are not from around here!

Love this hotel. It was super-close to the venue my associate and I were performing at and contained every creature-comfort we needed. Our room was big, with 2 comfy beds and a couch. Big screen TV, microwave and fridge for our convenience. The breakfast was delicious and we had access to coffee all day. There was a shallow pool for the kids but what I really enjoyed and needed was the fitness center. A decent exercise bike with a good treadmill and a full rack of weights, along with a circuit training weight machine. The Wi-fi was fast and easily accessible. 10/10 would recommend.
