RESIDENCE INN AUSTIN ROUND ROCK

Do not stay at this hotel. As a frequent traveler and Marriott Elite member of two decades, I have never seen a Marriott property in such bad shape. The hotel is entirely outdated. My room had highly stained floors and a completely dead phone line that maintenance couldn't even fix. The service here is incredibly poor. The front desk lacks training, and while the manager is reachable, he doesn't understand hospitality or the customer experience. They seem to assume guests will just tolerate these conditions silently. Marriott needs to renovate this property immediately. Until then, stay elsewhere.

Went significantly downhill.

We've visited this location for the past three Thanksgiving days and today marked the last time we spend our time there (family moving). The location is quiet and secluded so if you want some privacy that is the place. The parking lot is an issue since its connected witha restaurant and the spaces are real close so if you have a large car be ready for hits on your door. The rooms have a good size kitchen, living room, bedroom is separate for privacy and the bathroom a bit small. There are 2 TV's in the room with old school remotes. The bed is low and soft with 4 pillows. The bathroom only has in the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. They have warm breakfast with extra items. Outside they have a pool and small basketball court. If you are hungry there is a restaurant in front, 2 minutes away, and many in the area. In closing not only did wife and I bond with the place because of Thanksgiving days but I did with the old school phone on the wall and Covid signs lol. If in town, we will spend the night there.
