HAMPTON INN AND SUITES SELMA TX

We really enjoyed this hotel. Comfortable and updated. We were asked how our stay was going several times, so we felt well attended to. Breakfast included everything we could want - no disappointment there.

We have stayed at this location several times before with no issues. Our stays have been comfortable and quiet, and the housekeeping staff does an exceptionally good job of keeping the rooms clean. Unfortunately, during our last stay of two nights, the air conditioner in our room was not working, and with temperatures in the 80's it was not a comfortable stay. The first time I spoke with the front desk, they completely ignored our concerns, not even writing down or looking up the room number or last name. The second time we complained, they told us it was a thermostat issue and left it at that. Thankfully, we were there only two nights because otherwise we would have had to change hotels. I completely understand that things get very hectic during the holidays; however, two nights without air conditioner at a Hilton hotel in San Antonio, Texas, is, well, unforgettable.

My wife and I stayed a couple of days while visiting family. The check-in went very smoothly, and our room was ready on time. The room was very clean and very spacious. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were very flat. The room has very paper thin walls, we could here talking next door, the TV, the showers and sex noises and the toilet. It was hard to get any sleep. The hotel had a decent breakfast and was located in a good location, although there is a whole lot of construction going on that may take years to complete.
