Hyatt Place San Antonio Airport - Quarry Market

I always enjoy my stay at the Hyatt Place Quarry. It's a great location. The rooms were well kept even though this location is about to undergo a year long renovation in a week. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a Starbucks coffee before we got on the road to travel home.

The hotel smells of old, stale cigarette smoke. The floors in the room had several spots, randomly throughout the room, that were soaking wet, as if someone spilled a large amount of water or something was leaking. There were public hairs on the toilet and bathroom floor, and it smelled of urine. The floors made our socks black within minutes of walking around the room, they were filthy. Upon going to bed, we found more pubic hairs under the blanket on the sheet and in the pillow. More alarming: we found two bugs alive and crawling on the bed sheets as well. The counters were dirty with old sticky cola (maybe?) and food. The room was obviously not cleaned before we arrived (3 hours after checkin time). When alerted, the staff would not let us change rooms and the requested replacement sheets and/or cleaning supplies never came. Throughout the night, from 1am - 5am, the TV would come on and turn off by itself. We finally unplugged the TV. I never leave reviews, but this was so bad, I had to take the time to document it.

Worked well for a short stay. A few things like AC not getting very cool. Mini fridge not functioning. No microwave in room. Other than that. Location, breakfast, and value worth the money. Would book again.
