The night staff was reasonable and the bed was comfortable, but there were a lot of disappointments. I got a cheap rate but the security deposit was nearly as much - $40, up from the $30 it said when I made the reservation on motel6.com. So I needed to be charged almost double upfront, and though I checked out 10 hours ago, I'm still waiting for the money to return to my account.
In the bathroom of room 105, there was 2 light switches and two identical light bulbs right next to each other - it seems the exhaust vent was replaced with a light bulb for some reason. However the second light switch did nothing, but the timer dial switch next to it turned on the second bulb... the timer dial you'd normally expect a fan to be connected to. But you couldn't use that either, as it was spring loaded with incredible force - the second light turned on while you turned it, but as soon as you let go it would SNAP back to 0 so fast it'll slap your finger as you let go. What the heck...
I came for 2 main things besides a rest, since I had some stuff stolen earlier that day: to do laundry, and to shower - relying on the hotel to provide, as stated in the amenities. The coin laundry machines were run down but probably worked, except there was no detergent available other than a sign saying go to the lobby for it. Well I went to the front, and once the guy understood what I was looking for he let me in the lobby area where you can purchase items like this. Until I realized there was nothing laundry-related on the shelf. "Oh, I guess we're out", he said.
Then I went to shower, since my shower products had been stolen. The largest provided towel was the one in the outside sink area, not the one laying on the tub for some reason. Then I realized that the only products present was a small bar of soap, identical to the one in the sink area. No shampoo, conditioner, body wash, anything. I tried washing my long hair with the bar of soap... yeah, that doesn't really work.
The TV in the room wouldn't turn on, with the button or the remote, but it wouldn't turn off either. Other than I brief flash I could sometimes get when pressing buttons, the screen stayed black the whole time. Black, but on! With no accessible way to unplug it, I had to sleep with the TV backlight glowing the whole room all night.

This is one of my favorite places to stay in town. The front desk representative, Salim, was very helpful. Whenever I come to this location I never have any issues. I will definitely be coming back to stay again. Keep up the good work.
