Americas Best Value Inn - San Marcos

Got screwed on a hotels.com booking. Arrived to check in, woman at desk didn't know how to run credit card, but gave us key anyway and was going to have her daughter call to run card. We were back in minutes, Room smelled, carpet had stains, love seat had stains that were covered with a throw. Mirror and glass table had a filthy haze from a dirty rag that had been smeared over it. Could not stay but was charged regardless. Be forewarned this is a crappy, outdated hotel that is filthier than any I've witnessed.

Our hotel room had a weird smell. The mattress was stained and so was one of the bathroom walls. Just a dingy hotel room, but you get what you pay for, right. It’s good if you’re out all night & comeback to sleep for a few hours, but to spend time in the hotel room felt so uncomfortable.

I actually did not get to stay, I can four hours from out of town just to have the rude lady not honor the reservation. She yelled at me and my friends and also cursed. I actually ended up missing my plans due to her unproffesionalism and I had to stay at the candlewood suites in.
