Days Inn South Padre Island

The worst customer service experience of my life. We tried to work with the manager after being told to inspect our unlocked room ourselves and finding this mess. We had to fight for a partial refund after finding another filthy room and were told “some advice, don’t interrupt people” by the manager.. who had consistently interrupted several of us. Had to find somewhere safe and clean last minute after a fifteen hour drive.

My niece and I loved everything about South Padre Island Inn, located in the middle of the island. The queen beds were very comfortable, the TV great, the fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer all very convenient. Best of all, I loved the walk-in shower--no hazardous tub to step over. The maid came often to empty our trash, change sheets, towels, etc. The office gave us anything we asked for, like a wine corkscrew and more coffee packs. The small breakfast items were just right for us. All employees were very friendly. We enjoyed the beautiful hot tub and pool area too! Parking spot was right in front of our room. All was very clean and nice! The weather - it was below 50 degrees a couple of days.

our key cards kept malfunctioning and we had to replace them every single day for one. We also had an early flight and had to leave at 4 am when our trip was over. we asked the day before at the front desk and they told us that we could check out at 3, and get our $200 cash deposit. This morning we went down to the desk to check out and the man at the desk told us we could check out but not get our money until the morning during checkout, and that he would mail it to us. We are young girls in college, and he wouldn’t give us our money back. he told us to “hush up” when we kept asking. telling us he was gonna escort us off the property. as soon as my friend called her mom who happens to be a lawyer, and we let him know that, he immediately gave us our cash deposit and began apologizing. Don’t go here unless you wanna be scammed
