Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Tyler

We are Diamond members and have stayed with your hotel on numerous occasions. During our stay on September 23, we followed the normal checkout process and received a printed checkout statement. The statement was consistent with the confirmation information we had received and did not identify any additional $7.50 charge. However, when I later reviewed my credit card statement, I discovered a separate $7.50 charge from the hotel. My husband contacted the hotel to ask what the charge was for. Unfortunately, the employee who answered the phone could not explain the charge and, despite being provided with our confirmation number, could not even locate his reservation. We were given no reasonable explanation for why our credit card had been charged. Because the charge could not be identified or substantiated, we had no choice but to contact our credit card company and dispute it. The credit card company subsequently reimbursed the $7.50. While $7.50 is a small amount, the amount is not the point. The concern is that a charge was placed on our credit card after checkout without appearing on our final statement, and when we questioned it, the hotel was unable to identify what the charge was for. I have to wonder whether similar small charges are being applied to other guests' accounts as well. Even relatively small amounts can become significant if they occur repeatedly across a large number of transactions.

The bed was comfortable, due too exhaustion I slept fine. The room was clean, no time for television really. The Woman staff made sure I was straight upon entrance, very sweet woman. Even waited for my reservation too be applied. She rocks! Upon entrance a friend brought me, I handled my own luggage but years ago the luggage was handle by a tall gentleman giant. The easy access too rooms and great fresh coffee that evening that's free all day long. Wanting too swim but the kiddos that were here was enjoying themselves so I didn't want too interrupt there pool game. And they like it hot and I don't. They monitor it all. I'm a cheap scape so it's worth was expensive too me, but I think it should have a little more breakfast for the price and some other things free. I'm can say I wouldn't relax that much but it's monitored they see all and will stop the odors an spitting from anyone harassing customers who plan too come back and hired and hire some great personal.
