Ramada Limited Van Horn

Aug 26 2026 Day 4 of our trip CA to TX We have been driving for hours and hours after leaving Anthony Tx and my amazing brother in law. We are beyond tired as we rested too well last night. Being with family will do that. We are trying to push thru as far as possible to make Greenville by tomorrow. So we waited until the last possible moment to try to find a room for the night. It was actually only about 4 hours. We got up and left before 7 am! This place obviously caters to long term workers on this Texas highway project. Although there is no free breakfast as stated on the lobby signage, and the free coffee in the lobby, well it was crap!! Cold and weak. The room was actually a little scary, as was the elevator which went up from 1 to 2, but could not be called to go down as the buttons were broken! The pool had no water in it. The carpets were gross, the walls half painted.

Excellent customer service. Great breakfast. The buffet includes eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage patties. Plus waffles, bagels, juice, and coffee. All fresh and hot. Our room was nice, clean and had all the necessary amenities. They had a sitting area, with sofas, and chairs, plus a large outside area between the buildings. We felt safe during our stay. Close to local eating establishments. Recommend the Van Horn Cattle Company for dinner

Nope it is not fancy. But it is clean, friendly and quiet. We asked for a room in the back away from the highway. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. For the money it was worth every penny. Breakfast is included but it did not start till we were on the road.
