Comfort Suites Waxahachie

Our room smelled of mold that I couldn't find at first. The bed we put our children on had an insane amount of mold on it that wasn't noticed until I went to plug my phone in and then I saw the science experiment growing on the bedding next to the table. I asked to switch rooms. They said they would upgrade us, but it was far from an upgrade. It was the same room size minus a bed. We were told to explain what happened to the general manager, Jennifer who brushed us off and said they fixed the problem by washing the bedding. Unfortunately that will not stop the mattress from being contaminated and will still be a hidden problem for others that book room 218. The room they gave us after complaining had the same smell but we couldn't identify exactly where it was coming from. At this point we had already woken our children up once to move and since they had school the next day we felt we had to stay. Jennifer did nothing to compensate us for our trouble or exposure to the gross negligence by the staff here. It is obvious that these guys do not care about cleanliness or your health at all! If you read other reviews you will see that this is a reoccurring theme with canned responses from the management. I would absolutely go somewhere else. It was beyond bad and should have been noticed much sooner, but when you don't care it shows.

I had the pleasure of staying at Comfort Suites Waxahachie TX. The check in was smooth Jennifer made sure I was taken care of. Coffee at breakfast was awesome I qould stay Again.

First off I’ll start with the good. The staff is doing their very best. Now the bad. The pictures are NOT reality. This hotel is run down. Our room smelled old, musty, and faint animal odor. We turned the lights on and the couch had multiple stains all over it. The sitting chair was ripped. The desk chair was ripped. The bed spread had what looked like a bloody booger. The Internet was extremely spotty to the point we didn’t use it. And tv? If you’re lucky the antenna would pick something up for about 10 minutes before losing connection. My husband went to the gym and the weights are busted with cords hanging on the weight machines. It smelled in their so bad he left. The bed was ok but if my husband moved it sounded like a spring was going to bust out. Bring a fan. Your room is either freezing cold or hot and muggy. One of the worst hotels we’ve ever stayed at. I give the staff credit. They really are very nice and try their hardest to accommodate. But their hands are tied.
