Best Western Willis

I booked this room based on the website photos, which were clearly either taken in an alternate, universe or definitely AI. Instead of walking in to cozy, crisp sheets, I was immediately hit with an overwhelming smell of a wet towel that's been left decaying in a gym bag. Sealed in a damp, forgotten basement since the 1970s. The MOLD, has officially achieved sentience. They were channeling their inner Spidy-Men, scaling across the bathroom ceiling trying to sign up for the hotel loyalty program. Seeing them totally set off my Spidey-senses too making my face tingle... nope, wait, never mind, that was just my allergies flaring up from the decaying spores. I’m pretty sure the air in here counts as a solid food group. To the management: I see why you "don't leave the light on," because if people actually saw the reality of the conditions here. They would go to the better maintained property up the road. This wasn't an overnight opps... this is years of shortcuts.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I had my reservation months in advance for an ADA room with king bed. When I arrived at 2:15PM as asked to get into my room 45 minutes early, I was greeted with an abrupt “it will cost $40 to check-in early.” The Bluetooth-wearing front desk clerk, Hasan, then told me my reserved room is not available, but he could put me in a different room “but would have to charge me the difference.” It turns out the “difference” was 2X the price of the room I reserved. When I explained ‘I have a reservation and your room inventory is not my responsibility’ Hasan told me I was “not being cooperative,” which I suppose means ‘not agreeing to his bait-and-switch and price-gouging.’ Fortunately, I still had a 1+ hour cancelation window, which I left through. I found other lodgings 5 minutes down the road who were as happy and welcoming as Hasan was angry, rude, and irrational. Avoid Red Roof Inn Willis-Conroe at all costs. You have been warned.

Worse place I ever stayed they did not clean the room at all hair all over floor in restroom. No shower head tub wall broke and fixed with caulk. I’m going to have to trash bag my clothes and wash at a laundry mat. Harsh smell of pee toilet has a pee ring. Most disgusting place I ever stayed . Pillow cases are yellow! I’m going to have to strip naked when I get home at the front door! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
