Alta Peruvian Lodge

We had an absolutely incredible time at Alta Peruvian this last weekend celebrating my bachelor party. Huge shout up to the entire Peruvian team for their patient, helpful and friendly attitude despite our large and quite stoked group. Because of the late season and their closing day being that Sunday, we were one of the only groups at the hotel, but the service did not disappoint. Peruvian does a fantastic job of making the place feel like your home away from home, and that feeling was shared across our group. The aura, the history, the lore, the staff and the other guest just add to the experience. And the snow too, of course! Special shout out to Ryan the night watchmen who tirelessly combed the hotel for my missing ski bag and yellow crocs. Additionally, Caitlyn, our valiant leader, and the rest of the reservation staff for ensuring the booking and planning process was as stress-free as possible, Jon for handling our 3L bottle of Caymus with ease, Ben for substituting in the first minute as new Doug when old Doug couldn’t make the weekend, Abby and the kitchen staff for the great food and well stocked wine supply, Luke for being just an all-around cool dude, The P-dawg bar staff for putting up with our antics and allowing us to bring our own DJ on Friday night, And Todd Collins for making the whole weekend feel like no rules despite some rules. Absolutely incredible time and we all can’t wait to be back to enjoy Peruvian again.

Everything was much better than we could have hoped for and the staff was phenomenal! We only had 2 days to ski but staying at the Peruvian enabled us to make the absolute most of our limited time in Alta.

I found this lodge while searching for slopeside accommodations online. Boy, was I surprised at how much I loved this place! First, the location can’t be beat, just across the parking lot from the bottom of Alta’s Collins lift. The shuttle bus was always available and made frequent trips throughout the day, taking us to wherever we wanted to go nearby. Second, our room was very clean as was the bathroom. The hot tubs were well maintained. The common area, the lounge, always had a fire going, and there were plenty of small tables and comfortable seats for people to play games, read or chat. There was a ping-pong table in the locker area downstairs where we could keep our skis. Third, the food was absolutely fantastic! Our first night we had filet mignon, steak the second night and salmon on the third night. All meals are included in the room cost. Fourth, the staff was very friendly, always helpful and full of information. they accommodated our late departure by letting us store our things near the front desk. I am going to insist that my friends join me next winter when we ski at Alta.
