Americas Best Value Inn - Bryce Valley Inn

This place is AWFUL! If you want a friendly helpful staff, WiFi, TV, included breakfast… pay more and STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! The reviews on Expedia were 7.2, not terrible, so we tried. First thing I saw on the door was a note from another guest who was demanding a refund. I was banging on the door and calling every phone number they had on the door. The phone number they have listed online is disconnected (which is also the main number given on the door). One number rang but went to voicemail the first time I called, the second time it went straight to voicemail said mailbox full. I think it took close to 15-20 minutes just to get someone to let us in the office to get checked in, the office hours say 3:30pm-7pm, we arrived at 6pm. Another number is an emergency number that I tried after having issues with our room but I couldn’t get through to anyone after trying 3 times, they clearly ignore ALL calls. The room phone says dial 0 for desk, it goes to the full voicemail box. No answers, no call back. The HDMi cable was missing from the TV and the cord for Direct TV remote on the TV was broken, so no TV. We tried connecting to WiFi and it says “No Internet Connection”. There is NO breakfast like it says online. I asked the girl who checked us in about doing my laundry (we’ve been camping and this was supposed to be a refresh stop) all she said was that we could use it any time and asked if I needed to buy quarters, I went back and the door is locked! She did not tell me I needed a key nor did she offer a key. The ice machine is also kept in that room…doubt it works after seeing the way this building is kept up. There is a broke down Ford Focus that they store cleaning supplies. My guess is if they aren’t already in the process of closing, this place won’t last till the end of the year. The room itself was not bad, nice water pressure and we did get hot water after about 5+ minutes of having it turned all the way to hot. But everything else was horrible! Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with lodging and we have stayed in a lot of places over the years! Thanks for the false info and lack of sh**s given about your establishment!

My friends and I booked rooms there because we wanted to hike Bryce and there was no other hotel rooms with availability. Now I know why this one wasn't full! The carpet was absolutely disgusting! I would not step on it with a barefoot – I always wore a sock or shoe before I put foot to the floor. The bathtub in one of my friends rooms was so disgusting. I probably would've gagged if I had to look at it and my other friends bathtub wasn't much better. Although we paid for two nights, we left after one night and we're lucky to get a room at it much better hotel.

The hotel was dirty and the bathtub was filthy. I was very uncomfortable staying in such a dirty place and checked out. I tried to get a refund and they did not respond to Booking.com when they tried to intervene on my behalf. Still trying to get a refund. I will post a picture of the bathtub.
