Silverado Lodge

When checking in there is no staff. Just a sign sending you to a second hotel (Sundial Lodge) who also has no staff. Just a sign sending you to the Grand Summit where you can actually check in. Once back to the original hotel our room was in a separate building with extremely poor signage to get to. Once there we went to the ice machine on our floor. It was broken. We passed one on the first floor on our way to. Building 2. It was also broken. Called the front desk. Auto transferred to Grand Summit Hotel who just said sorry it’s a sister hotel we know nothing about. Would never stay here again. Room is marginal at best. And service is nonexistent and poor from sister hotel

I honestly had a great time at first I was skeptical about the reviews but after I couldn’t understand why people did not like it here the only downside was that the ice machine didn’t work but over all had an amazing stay

I wish I could add in pictures cause those would do my previous answers justice alone. First, the room was not ready upon arrival at the hotel until after 6:00pm when check in time was at 4:00pm. Your only saving grace was the young women at the front desk who was taking a lot of complaints from other customers so that should have been our first clue. Not only that, but once we were in our room we realized that we were not sure of what they even took the extra two hours to clean because there were coffee stand on the floor all the way around the area of the family room rug but also sticky juice like portions of the floor that were felt when we started walking around with socks on which was absolutely disgusting. This was after a long day of traveling so we decided to deal with it in the morning and rest and go to sleep. The next morning we requested that the cleaning service come back up to mop and vacuum areas that had dirt or crumbs on the floor or the rugs. We moved the center coffee table and found a used dirty plastic spoon with many crumbs of which we took plenty of pictures. We called in this request around 9:00am and no body came until after I called a second time around 11:00am and we wanted to go ski at this point. Therefore we took the vaccine and mop once they delivered it and cleaned it ourselves. This all happened within the first 24 hours of being on property. Second, we had the do not disturb sign on our door consistently all week and not only did we have employees of the resort walk in our room once without request but it happened four times and one of those times my fiancé was in her underwear. Very disturbing! Lastly, I requested compensation for these disturbances and upper management's deduction to my total bill was on $120. That tells me they do not give one shot let alone two about their customers and I will not be back nor will I tell anyone to stay here. Oh and I forgot a major detail… our room was on the 4th floor and the elevator was broken the entirety of the time we stayed ( ten days) which is technically against the law so I think that alone was worth more then $120 worth. Upper management simply does not care. If I do not get a response on this it will be posted online as a review.
