Had to write to tell people, stay elsewhere! This place was rundown and not worth the money or hassle I experienced in modifying my reservation. Despite coordinating with Charmayne at the property via text and verbal conversation to adjust my check-in date by one day, I was denied a refund for the modification. Although this was a date change rather than a cancellation, the full original charges were maintained. I found the property condition to be subpar and the administrative requirements—including the necessity to provide a selfie with my ID and navigate a complex portal—to be excessive. Furthermore, the limited payment options and the significant markups on convenience services, such as grocery shopping, were disappointing. Given the numerous high-quality lodging alternatives available in Park City that offer better value and closer proximity to local amenities, I will not be utilizing your services in the future.

Horrible experience. My ski bag was misdelivered and a kind neighbor alerted the reception that it was outside in danger of being stolen and they told her they'd look into it and they did nothing, when I inquired about it they denied the phone call even happened, and only admitted they had a record of the call later when police were involved, but continued to lie to the police about what was discussed on the phone call. They have not acknowledged that they disregarded the request for help with the bag, offered an apology, or even shown empathy for the fact that I am now stuck in Utah for a month with zero clothing, much less missing thousand of dollars of gear. Yolanda, if you are the manager I spoke with you don't even treat people like human beings. If you had even expressed a shred of compassion when I had to track you down to even speak to me about the stolen property, it would have made all the difference in the world. Everyone else I spoke with - the owner, the police, the incredibly young front desk staff that shouldn't have been the ones even handling the theft of property were nice, but the manager was disinterested in speaking with me so made these teenagers talk to me instead. The management here don't care about guests. By the way, the bag was taken shortly after the neighbor called, given how dishonest and evasive they were when I tried to get more information about what happened after my bag was delivered, I have a deeply uncomfortable feeling that the person on staff may be the person who took the bag. Oh, and when I arrived very late at night there was no one at the desk to check me in, I had to call a number listed at desk which apparently was for the phone located at the same empty desk I was standing. When someone showed up they informed me there was no power in several of the buildings, including mine.

We did not have an enjoyable stay at Unit 917 at the Prospector. If you stay there, ask if they have had the heater repaired. When we stayed the fire place/ heater would not respond to the remote. It was roasting hot all night and could not be turned off or turned down. We had to open the sliding glass door an inch to relieve the heat. The room alternated between freezing cold and burning hot all night. I notified the management of the issue the following morning (Friday 2/10/23). They said they could not get a repairman there until Tuesday. They gave me instructions on how to turn off the fireplace using switches under the grill. I had a choice, either boiling hot or no heat at all. I asked for more blankets in case it was very cold with the heat off. They said they didn't have any and that I could buy some blankets and they would ask the owner of the unit if they could reimburse me. I couldn't believe they thought that was a reasonable response to my issue. After I said I wanted half my money returned, they showed up with 2 blankets. The owner called and spoke to my husband. A repairman came to look at the heater but couldn't get it to work. I don't know if they got it repaired at all, so before you stay, ask management if this issue has been resolved. On other issues... We used the sofa bed as we had 3 guests. There was a very large chair which does not fit in the room with the sofa bed open. I requested that they remove the chair and they did the following morning. Management should move this chair automatically if the sofa bed will be used as it blocks egress from the bed to the bathroom and exit, or it blocks the kitchen. The room has a stove range and dishes and pots, but no way to drain the dishes or dry them after washing. No kitchen towels or draining mat, or dish drainer. The pots are in rough shape, but work. The coffee maker worked well and they had coffee in the cupboard which we appreciated. The location is okay. It is close to a shuttle. Too far from town to walk. The Prospector HOA needs to make sure each television in all of the buildings is named by the room number. At 6:00am on Sunday 2/12/2023, our TV turned on while we were all sleeping. The screen changed a few times and finally said, "Air TV" code. My son figured out that a guest in another room was probably trying to connect to her TV through her phone and selected the wrong TV, turning on our TV while we were sleeping. We had 3 nights of very difficult sleep. Best of luck to anyone staying at this place.
