If you’re thinking about this place, just don’t. Sadly it’s a terrible experience. Everything in our room is broken including shower and sink and refrigerator, it smells, bedding and towels are threadbare, curtains falling off and don’t close properly. Would be fine but we have paid hundreds of dollars for this room. Amazingly front desk could not care less but given the number of bad reviews they must be used to it. While I was explaining the issues she laughed and managed to insult another customer who came in to ask a simple question. They’ve created a cool website but they’re selling something that does not match the experience at all.

We stayed at Bryce Pioneer Village in June and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Upon arrival, we found hair on one of the pillows, which immediately raised concerns about the cleanliness of the room. The kitchen cookware and utensils were heavily worn, stained, and appeared poorly maintained. The most serious issue occurred while I was unpacking luggage in one of the closets. Two closet doors suddenly detached and fell next to me with a very loud crash. Fortunately, I was not physically injured, but the doors could easily have struck me and caused injury. This was a significant safety hazard and should not happen during normal use. In addition, the cooktop surface was damaged, further suggesting a lack of proper maintenance throughout the unit. What disappointed us most was the owner’s response. When I reported the falling closet doors, I was told that since the doors had not actually hit me, there was nothing to worry about. I was also told that if I was unhappy, I could leave within five minutes. Rather than addressing a legitimate safety concern, the issue was dismissed. The location is convenient for visiting Bryce Canyon National Park, but the cleanliness issues, maintenance problems, and handling of guest concerns fell far below expectations. What concerns me most is not that these problems existed, but that they appeared to be accepted as normal. Cleanliness issues can be corrected, and maintenance problems can be repaired. Dismissing a falling closet door because it happened to miss a guest reflects a troubling attitude toward safety. Guests can decide for themselves whether finding hair on bedding, using poorly maintained kitchen equipment, staying in a unit with a damaged cooktop, and having closet doors fall unexpectedly beside them meets their expectations for a safe and comfortable stay.

First of all, we and 3 other parties had to stand outside for 10 minutes at 4:00 in the afternoon waiting for someone to open the door to the lobby area to check in. Someone had put up a note stating they would be back soon - but didn't say when. After arriving and unlocking the door, she made no, as in zero, apologies. The room looked like it had last be updated in the 1980's. The 24" TV (YES it's that small!) had no modern stations. Who doesn't offer cable at a minimum? Is a smart TV that expensive? The room was tiny and had no closet. We had to wait 30 minutes to eat at their restaurant. The wait got up to over 45 minutes. How does that make sense? They brag about their great restaurant and how convenient it is to be located on the property, but all evening there was a minimum 30-minute wait.
