Snowed Inn

This was a totally relaxing experience with innkeepers that really care! Everything about this stay was great. You walk into the doorway and smell delicious mixes of cinnamon and spicy along with the scent of freshly baked cookies. The common area is warm and inviting and the grounds overlook woods and a babbling brook. This inn offers a central location, ultra clean and comfortable rooms and a friendly vibe. The bed was big and comfortable and the TV had a nice offering of channels for the evening. Before the day Is over, guests are asked to choose from several breakfast choices and place it in the box near the water cooler. This helped to make the breakfast experience a pleasant one. Along with the open-window and charming decor, morning felt a bit brighter. The owner came over and introduced himself to us and offered little quips about the area, the weather and other light topics. I could tell how much work they put into this business. The details were really fine in this inn. For example, the owner not only put out a tray of jams, he set it near our table on the second day when it was less busy. The 24 hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate set up had fresh coffee and hot water along with an array of tea and nice kept in labeled closed mason jars. There were about eight syrups for the coffee and honey sticks for tea, along with usual sugar and sweetner. This is the kind of detail that I do not usually see! Our experience around the area was also really great. I would highly recommend this inn and I bought a couple of guidebooks at a local bookstore hoping to find hikes that we can do. We were so happy, we hope to return again!

This Inn is beautiful and comfortable after dinner playing dominos! The breakfast was tasty and enjoyable. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Snowed Inn when we toured Vermont for 5 days with Vermontology Guided Tours and Natalia Ferens-Hommel. Ken and Caroline were so gracious and we really enjoyed the delicious food. (Croissants and waffles, yum! ) Snowed Inn has such a cozy atmosphere and is delightful in every way. We can’t wait to stay again next year when we bring our relatives with us.
