Silver Service Inn

From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were staying at a relative's house. I cannot understate how clean, comfortable, and relaxed this place is. The owners are friendly and really great to talk to. I apologize, I don't remember their names, but the wife - she is a marvelous chef and clearly cares a lot about her Inn. She does a wonderful job maintaining the place. The husband is the perfect front-of-house and made the whole process smooth, and also provided hilarious commentary at breakfast and made great recommendations that we put to good use during our stay. We stayed on a first floor room with a view of the front yard - great for seeing the fall colors. In the morning, we'd open the blinds and a golden light reflected off the leaves would steam in! Beautiful. Delicious breakfast made with love - do not skip under any circumstance.

Breakfast was wonderful. Denise filled the table with various quiches and pastries, all delicious. Convenient to good dining and not far from the center of town. Rooms, at least ours, were well furnished and spacious. Bill and Denise were helpful in recommendations in the area.

Believe me, all the excellent reviews and comments that this B&B has received are very well deserved. Here’s a case where it seems to be too good to be true, but it actually is. The owners, Bill and Denise, are wonderful. They make you feel very welcome. The accommodations couldn’t be better, the fireplace, large bathroom, and hot top. The house is nestled back from the road but is very conveniently located near the intersection of Rts 7 and 11, just minutes from the center of town. Denise’s breakfasts were quite a pleasant surprise, yummy and much more than I expected. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!
