Stowe Inn & Tavern

Very nice main street, very busy with visitors and traffic, lots of shops and food options

My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at this lovely Inn. It was wonderfully kept up the people who work there are so helpful. Our room was on the second floor . A corner room with lots of sunlight. Very clean and room for our things. A comfy bed , nice linens. We enjoyed the patio fire pit one evening and musicians in the bar another. The restaurant in the building was lovely the food and service great. I would recommend reservations at the restaurant during weekends or popular times. We would certainly return. The village of Stowe was a wonderful place and we walked everywhere from the Inn location was excellent.

We stayed at The Stowe Village Inn for four nights to attend the British Car Show that was being held in Stowe. It was absolutely one of the best places I have stayed. First the location was perfect-easy walking distance to town as well as to the things located on the Mountain Road. The Inn was spotlessly clean and our room was cleaned (with new sheets ) every day. The Inn has some little amenities that really added up-such as free coffee with dark roast and fresh milk and cream, a filter water bottle filler, a cute gift area where you could also pick up (free) items you may have forgotten-such as toothbrushes, etc.The atmosphere was like being in someones country home with a nice living room with comfortable seating - we watched our. local football game there one afternoon! The service was great-friendly and responsive. The other major plus was the attached restaurant "Grants" , fabulous food and service....funny and nice servers and bartenders and a fire pit!
