HAMPTON INN - SUITES ALEXANDRI

Typical Hampton experience. Since its across the highway not really walking distance to King St. Room was fine

We love this hotel. Front desk staff friendly and helpful all shifts. Rooms are clean, bathrooms clean. The mattresses are dated and need replacing, but enough pillows, and linens. Location is perfect - bus, shuttle and metro are close by. Parking for a fee. Breakfast very good, hot and cold items, and fresh fruit. Walking distance to many shops, coffeehouses, bars and restaurants.

We stayed here during my son’s 8th grade trip to Washington DC. It is a little bit of a drive into the city but not bad and likely a much better price point than staying closer. The breakfast employees did a great job keeping everything filled; especially the kids never ending waffle obsession. We had a conference room for everyone to meet in which worked well.
