I’ve stayed in plenty of Econo lodges as they are usually affordable and are always a decent sanitary stay. This one however is lacking in the sanitary and safety department. As you can see in the pictures I provided it looks like my door was pried into from the outside (how it was before I entered the room) the dead bolt didn’t latch into the door at all and the top lock was barely hanging on… if the door was open and someone took a running start at the door the lock would’ve definitely busted off. As for how dirty the room was I spilled a little bit of water when I first walked into the room and used a towel to clean it up. As you can see on the towel itself it didn’t look like the floors had been cleaned in quite a while. Now the staff didn’t necessarily do anything wrong to me other than asking me multiple times if I smoked/vaped (which I don’t) and that there’s no smoking in the rooms. I was asked 3 separate times throughout my stay which was a little annoying as I had already said it multiple times. Breakfast was fine they had 2 cereals to choose from which is perfect for me as I don’t need a big breakfast in the mornings. Overall I wouldn’t be recommend staying here anytime soon until the get the rooms cleaned up a bit better and maybe fixing the locks and doors properly

On the way from Quebec City to the Myrtle Beach Rally in South Carolina, we stop here for a night. Easily accessible at the intersection of Route 95. Clean rooms; the clerk is happy to see French-speaking Canadians on motorcycles, so much so that he comes to check out the bikes outside and chats with us. We chose this motel because breakfast was included; however, there is only a limited choice of cereals, white bread with nothing on it, and no fruit. Had we known, we would have chosen another motel since a Denny's restaurant is very close. For one night, it's acceptable.

Room was large and clean, motel could use some major updating but staff was friendly and courteous. Noise from hwy#17 is quite loud throughout night so book a room far from the front on east side. Breakfast was typical continental style.
