Let me start by saying I get the cheapest rooms I can find cuz it's just a place to sleep & shower. The manager was super nice......gave me an extended 1pm checkout. The beds are fine but the bathroom was not clean......pee on the toilet seat, skid marks in toilet & dead cockroach in tub. Maybe just bring along a few cleaning supplies?!

We got there at about 1am and I went to check in but the idiot behind the glass said he wouldn't allow anyone but me to check in unless he PERSONALLY saw them. I had to wake my husband AND children up & parade them before this, this person! I've NEVER heard of this in 50+ years of traveling the world over! NEVER have I encountered such a humiliating experience. We only stayed one night then left as soon as we woke up. The room wasn't memorable other than the toilet seat didn't fit properly, the wall sockets were overloaded and a major fire hazard and the fridge smelled of mold.

I stayed here one night. This placed received several bad reviews years ago. Overall Hampton has improved. The room was clean. I could tell they cleaned the room. But the linen was old. The bed spread had holes in it from what looked to be old cigarette burns. The room had a very faint order of cigarette smoke. If you are sensitive to that it may bother you. To me it seemed like they try to keep the room smoke free but the room still has a faint smell. The bathroom was clean. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. Both clean. Also a decent TV with cable. The bed was comfortable and clean but again. The sheets looked old. This hotel needs to invest in new linen, blankets and sheets. They should also replace the carpets. This hotel could use some TLC. I paid 69$ tax included. I feel like the price for the room should have been like 45$ or 50$. It was a quiet hotel and right next to the base gate so things seemed very quiet and peaceful. The door jam screws were loose. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. This is a two star hotel that could be a 3 star if they invest in improvements. I didn’t see any breakfast offered or coffee. The coffee maker in the room came with one free coffee but I did not use it. I think this is a safe place to stay. It’s just old and perhaps family owned and operated making me think they are trying to make things last longer than what is reasonably expected.
