Ramada Inn Harrisonburg

Cheaper than the chains and it worked perfectly. My husband and I were driving up from North Carolina to visit family in Pennsylvania and needed to split the drive somewhere around Harrisburg. This place cost us quite a bit less than the brand hotels we saw on the same strip. The room was just as clean honestly. Check-in was smooth and the woman at the front desk was friendly, she even gave us a recommendation for where to get coffee in the morning but we ended up just doing breakfast at the hotel. The AC worked great which mattered because it was still warm that evening. I'm pretty sure I left my sunglasses in the lobby chair but oh well. Breakfast had eggs and waffles. That was all we needed before getting back on the road. Slept well. Would absolutely stay again next time we make this drive.

Broke up a long southbound drive and Maya at the front desk made it easy. I pulled off 81 around ten thirty after leaving Pennsylvania that morning and still had another five hours ahead of me the next day. Checked in quickly. The room was ready right away which was great because I was exhausted. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable enough, though the pillows were kind of flat for my taste. I actually left my water bottle in the car and didn't feel like going back out to get it. Slept through the night anyway without hearing much road noise. Breakfast in the morning had eggs and waffles, which was all I needed before getting back on the highway. For the price this was exactly what I needed.

Close to JMU and our border collie was welcome without a fuss. My wife and I came up for graduation weekend and brought the dog because we did not want to board him for three days. Check-in was easy and nobody blinked about the pet. The room was clean and cool. We were maybe fifteen minutes from campus which made the morning drive over really simple even with all the traffic that weekend. The bed was a bit firm for me but I still slept fine and my wife had no complaints at all. For what we paid and how close it was to everything we needed this worked out really well.
