The Village Inn

Checked out early and didn't stay the night. If you decide to stay here,.check the bed for cleanliness when you check in. If I had checked it right away I would have checked out immediately. There were no fitted sheets, just a top sheet and there were stains on the sheets and mattress pad. Also hair and dirt in one of the beds, on the floor and in the chair.

I just made reservations for a room two weekends in July and August and it reminded me to weigh in on our stay this past February. The room was excellent - very clean, cozy, nicely decorated, had a comfortable bed, and had a jacuzzi bathtub. It couldn't have been any nicer. And personnel at check-in were pleasant and helpful. They also couldn't have been any nicer. Though we did not eat in the restaurant, I understand they have a reputation for great food. We have family in the area and hope to stay with the Village Inn whenever we visit!

This is a charming motel just outside of Harrisonburg VA that offers lovely hospitality, a REAL home cooked breakfast, and extremely clean rooms. The hosts are courteous and helpful and youare greeted with homemade cookies and coffee in the lobby. The rooms are spacious, well outfitted with fridge, bath accessories, TV, etc. The grounds are meticulously maintained with a little garden around the pool area. It is apparently that the owners care about their property. and the price is fair.
