Absolutely fabulous stay. Can't say enough great things about this resort. What a hidden gem! We'll be back. The grounds are stunning - the flowers are the most beautiful I've ever seen. My husband loved golf. Viola in reservations was exceptional, and Charles the maintenance man couldn't have been nicer - he even showed me the best place to watch the sunrise (the pool deck around 5:30ish am). Marigold Restaurant was outstanding. We loved the healthy options and fresh ingredients. Really can't think of anything that should be improved. Truly an amazing spot.

The grounds are pretty and I heard golf course nice. However, the rooms look pretty, but they ruined the trip. 1) some rooms are very far lobby so feel cut off. 2) no coffee or tea in room. Very long walk to lobby where only place to get a cup of coffee. 3) my bed hard as a rock. Had a terrible night sleep. Pillows were way too soft and hurt my neck. 4) TV faced bed not couch and had terrible WiFi and limited channels. So the couch faced nothing. 5) no hot water at best lukewarm water. Cut myself shaving in cold water 6) no real light switches just some complicated light system that you have to put on reading glasses to read how to work lights. 7) no Clock in room. How annoying you have to get iPhone to see time. 8) twice a day they enter room and adjust stuff. . After a long day waiting in hallway why they are in your room at 830 pm is annoying. This is an expensive hotel and rooms look nice, but useless. A $99 hotel would have warm water, coffee and alarm clock in room unlike this place.

There are some really lovely parts about Keswick but also some pretty big down sides. Overall it feels like they haven’t totally hit their stride as a hotel yet. The positives - the grounds are very well maintained and the staff is friendly. Golf and pool were nice. Room was clean and spacious. Marigold's had some really great bites. The negatives - our sleep was disrupted both nights, twice by an elevator alarm (front desk said it was a known and regular issue) and one night by a faulty air conditioner that had been held together by zip ties. The food outside of marigold was hit or miss with portions being tapas sized. No one really oriented us to the property, didn’t know about activities or really where to go for things. Front staff was nice but sparse. Not sure what you would do there if the weather was bad. They gave us a $90 refund for the sleep disruption which felt kind of comical. For $1200 a night I would like to be able to sleep through the night.
