Econo Lodge Oyster Point

Centrally located between Williamsburg, Yorktown, and City Center at Oyster Point (Newport News), this no-frills, staff-friendly motel provided the perfect atmosphere to relax and regroup after a long day of fighting the heavy traffic in and around Greater Norfolk-Virginia Beach. I am very low maintenance, so and the staff was very accommodating when I dead bolted myself out of my own room, like an idiot. The front desk agent even warmed muffins and put out orange juice in the morning just for me. Lil 'ol me. He didn't have to do that, but he did. That was so nice of him. I never take kindness for granted. If you're looking for a low price near popular shopping, dining, and entertainment in the safe part of town, I hope you'll consider Key West Inn.

The place sucks! I reserved a king and received a full smoking. The room is a poor excuse even for the lowest of hotels. It looks dirty felt dirty and was not even worth what I did pay. It seems Indian owned and run down. Site boast about a continental breakfast but does not actually serve breakfast at all. I'm not happy whatsoever with this place and don't recommend it.

I had a great experience with the Key West Inn in Newport News. The staff are so friendly, helpful and accommodating! They were sympathetic to my needs and demonstrated genuine concern for my situation. My stay there was very pleasant and provided me with a second "home" while I was in the process of moving.
