Motel 6 Washington DC SW-Springfield, VA

Sohel was always smiling and helpful. This is my third nite, everybody has been helpful and welcoming.

We booked this place for a week. I waited till the week was about up to do this review. Like most places there are pros and cons so I will list the pros and cons of this place. Let's start with the good. 1. The price, for staying a week it was good. 2. The staff are friendly and willing to help. 3. Have not seen a bug all week. 4. The room was comfortable and plenty of space. 5. There was always hot water in the shower. 6. Housekeeping is only an ask away. 7. Close to several restaurants and stores 8. Close to the metro station Now the bad. 1. The lobby, hall, and non-smoking room all smelled of cigarettes and/or marijuana. ( We bought an air sanitizer spray to try and help) 2. No breakfast or pool (knew this going in and prepared) 3. The room could use a touch up. 4. The appearance of the place is a bit rundown. 5. The tv is mounted to the wall in such a way that you can not plug a device into it. 6. The toilet flushing pressure is weak, may need a couple flushes. 7. The road it is on is very busy during rush hours which makes it difficult to get out. If you are on a budget it's not the worst you could do, but if you have more money to use for lodging I would say stay elsewhere.

Since you walk inside the Hotel it smells like cigarettes, you can see dead roaches in the hall way, the room was dirty. Smelling like cigarettes, the floors was dirty also, the sheets smelled like cigarettes. Your clothes ended smelling like cigarettes. There were no towels and soaps inside the room, had to ask in front desk.
